Most of the important fastivels are in winter no matter in China or Western conturies. Christmas is a traditional fastival in Christian society but young people in China also have interesting in nowdays for people can take it as a reason to invited their friends to have a dinnar together and girls can ask their darlings to go shopping in the Christmas season and the boys have no reason to escape in this important day.

Though no one take the fastivel seriously , everybody like to say  a "merry christmas " to others by oral or by cell phone. People always feel warm when they know some body is missing them, it is nature of human.  

I found all the grils in shops in red clothes yesterday.  very beautiful. But christmas is not a official holiday in China, and the temperater is very low recently,  customs apparently not many.

Christmas just the begining of the holiday season, the follow New year, and spring Festival were all official holidays and will be more lively. As to me, a single man in a city that not belongs to me, really haven't any festival mood.
